This page explains what information Maja handles.

At a glance

No sign-in needed. Sign in only if you want your cards on other devices.
Cards (names, sizes, fit notes) are stored in this browser. If you sign in, they are saved to your account too.
No ads, no tracking. Visits are counted anonymously, without cookies.
The only personal data we receive directly is the email address and message you send through the contact form.

Without signing in, cards live only in your browser's storage (localStorage). They are not stored on our servers, so we cannot see them.
Delete cards one at a time with 'Delete card', or clear this site's data in your browser to remove everything.
'Send as a link' puts the card (name, sizes, fit notes) after the # in the address. That part is never sent to a server and is decoded only in the browser of the person who opens the link. You choose who to send it to.
Your chosen theme (light or dark) is also remembered in browser storage.

Signing in is optional. Everything works without an account.
You sign in with a Woodada account (using Google). We store the account name and email address as your account details. We do not store your profile photo.
While signed in, your cards (names, sizes, fit notes and brands you added) are saved to your account so you can see them on other devices.
A session cookie (woodada.session_token) keeps you signed in for 30 days. Other services that use the Woodada account (Haruchaeum, Koja) read the same cookie. We briefly count requests per IP address to limit abuse, but do not store it with your account.
Deleting your account on the account page removes the account and the cards saved on the server right away. Cards in this browser are deleted separately.

No ads or tracking cookies. To see which pages get read, we count visits without cookies. IP addresses and browser details are not stored; visits are counted with an anonymous value that changes every day, so the same person is not recognised from one day to the next.
One cookie (woodada-locale) remembers your language for a year. Other woodada.app services read the same cookie so they show the same language.

What we receive: Your email address and message. The language you were viewing and your browser information (User-Agent) are stored with it to help us reply.
How it is used: Only to reply. We do not send ads or promotional email.
Where it is stored: In the woodada inquiry service.
How long: Kept so we can continue the conversation, and deleted right away if you ask.

To limit spam we count submissions per IP address, but the address is not stored with your inquiry.

To see or delete an inquiry you sent, tell us through the contact form. We confirm it is you via the email address you used, then take care of it.

If this policy changes, we post the update here and revise the effective date.
